"Digimon Savers: Another Mission" was added to the discography. Mr. Namiki contributed one track to the title. It also featured Basiscape partners, Mr. Hitoshi Sakimoto and Mr. Masaharu Iwata. "Digimon Savers: Another Mission" was developed and published by Bandai Namco, and was released on November 30th of this year.

Namiki Featured on Mushihimesama Futari! October 20th, 2006
"Mushihimesama Futari", the new sequel to Cave's 2004 major hit "Mushihimesama", has been confirmed to feature Mr. Namiki as well as Mr. Kimihiro Abe as composers. Mr. Namiki was the main composer of the prequel, with assistance from Basiscape partners, Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masaharu Iwata, as well as other notable musicians. Cave has not yet set a release date on "Mushihimesama Futari", but it's expected to be out by early 2007. Please check out this page from the official website to watch an interview with Mr. Namiki.

Mr. Namiki was a guest arranger in the newly released Inti / Capcom game "Rockman ZX". He was also present with other guest arrangers such as Akari Kaida, Satoru Kousaki and Koji Hayama. An original soundtrack featuring all the sounds and the arrangements from the game will be released for 3,200 Yen on October 27 under the Inti Creates label, titled "ZX Tunes".

New Century / Basiscape ~ SEGA AGES 2500 Series Vol.28 Original Soundtrack Announced! September 17th, 2006
Mr. Namiki recently directed and remixed the music to the new volume in the Sega Ages 2500 series, Tetris Collection. He was joined by Basiscape partner Kimihiro Abe in the production, where they produced music which changes in real time depending on the game. The game will be available on the 28th of September with a retail sale price of 2,625 Yen.
Celebrating the release of the game, Sega Direct, Wave Master and Basiscape have teamed up to produce the album "New Century / Basiscape ~ SEGA AGES 2500 Series Vol.28 Original Soundtrack". It will contain many famous and well known jingles from various Sega games, including the majority of tracks from the Tetris Collection video game, and will be newly arranged and recorded by Mr. Namiki and Mr. Abe. "New Century / Basiscape ~ SEGA AGES 2500 Series Vol.28 Original Soundtrack" is available to preorder from VGMWorld.com and will be released on September 28th, published under Wave Master for 1,995 Yen.

Mr. Namiki's discography was updated. Amongst the added was "Battle Stadium D.O.N" where he worked alongside Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masaharu Iwata. He produced 3 tracks for the score. It was also announced that Mr. Namiki, along with Mr. Iwata and Mr. Mitsuhiro Kaneda, composed the music to Sony Computer Entertainment Japan / Eighting's "BLEACH Heat the Soul 3". The game was released on the 20th of July last month. Finally, Mr. Namiki contributed 1 arrangement to the final soundtrack to the popular game, Ragnarok Battle Offline. The album is called "RAGNAROK BATTLE OFFLINE Soundtrack Vol.2 "CHOCOLATE NIGHT" and will be available to purchase on the 13th of August.

The soundtrack to Cave Co., Ltd's "ESPGaluda II" was released today. The 2 disc soundtrack contains music by Manabu Namiki and Mitsuhiro Kaneda, with disc 1 focusing on original compositions found in the game while disc 2 hosts a complete disc worth of exclusive arrangements. It is expected that the "ESPGaluda II Original Sound Track" will be out of print within the first few days of sale, as shown by previous Cave Co., Ltd releases, and it is unknown if the album will become available at VGMWorld.com. However, the album can be found with the price tag of 3500 Yen and the catalog number CVST-0004. Don't miss this very limited printing as the publisher will not reprint it after the printing has finished.

The game 'ESPGaluda II' was a sequel to the 2004 title 'ESPGaluda' and was released in late 2005. Only just recently is Cave Co., Ltd. producing the score on disc, under the title "ESPGaluda II Original Sound Track". Manabu Namiki composed the music for ESPGaluda II after an acclaimed score by composer N.T from the first title. He was also joined by working partner Mitsuhiro Kaneda, whom he recently collaborated with on Metal Slug 6. "ESPGaluda II Original Sound Track" will be released for purchase on July 26 under the catalog number CVST-0004, but be warned of the strict quantity available. More updates to come.

Metal Slug ~Complete Sound BOX~ Announced! July 4th, 2006
To celebrate the 10th year anniversary of the popular action series, Scitron Digital Contents., Inc / Happinet Corporation have announced a collection of all Metal Slug music works in one 8 disc box set labeled "Metal Slug ~Complete Sound BOX~". Included will be the complete compositions from all 7 Metal Slug titles (even Metal Slug, Metal Slug X, Metal Slug 4 and the latest Metal Slug 6, all which never received original soundtrack releases), and previously unpublished music from the series that never made it into the games. The set will also feature brand new designs from the series illustrator TONKO and a very special 32 page booklet with many composer comments plus unpublished information! There will also be an exclusive arrange track from Basiscape's Mitsuhiro Kaneda. Manabu Namiki and Kaneda were responsible for creating the score to Metal Slug 6, succeeding Studio AQUA's Toshikazu Tanaka from previous Metal Slug titles.

Not too long ago, SNK Playmore announced that it would port over Metal Slug 6, the latest entry to the hit arcade game series, Metal Slug, to the PlayStation 2. The original arcade version of the game was scored by Basiscape duo, Manabu Namiki and Mitsuhiro Kaneda, and no announced changes will be made to the music on it's new platform. Metal Slug 6 will be available to purchase for PlayStation 2 in Japan on July 27th.

On the 7th of July, 2006, there will be a special in-house party hosted by the Linear Sound Team at Studio Cube 326 in Japan. The event, Linear Vol. 14, will host a variety of famous Japanese game and anime music composers, including Manabu Namiki, Shinji Hosoe, Ayako Saso, Yuzo Koshiro, Hiroshi Okubo, Atsushi Ohara and many more! The event will host many live DJ performances and will also premier the new album "Rumbustious" which features remixed music from Atsushi Ohara's earlier released "Rumbletuned".
